Improve Memory Skills

Continuing my previous post about How to Improve Memory and Concentration, this article will cover deeply about improve memory skills. Wouldn’t we all like to stop forgetting the car keys and the wedding anniversaries all the time, after all things like that can get us into a lot of trouble. Improving memory skills isn’t all that hard to learn as many people might think, actually it can sometimes be quite easy.
A person’s memory is categorized into three parts:
1. Imprint – talks about any piece of data that you prefer to keep in your memory bank.
2. Retention – the intensity of the information which makes it truly memorable or worth discarding.
3. Recalling – talks about your mind’s capacity to recollect that piece of information.
If any of these components fail, then the end result would be memory loss or memory lapse. There are 3 tips you can do to improve your memory:
1. Feed your mind . Reading books and learning new things also eating the right kinds of food for the brain. Stack up on walnuts and other foods rich in omega 3 like salmon and other fishes.
2. Pay enough attention. If you put in less attention on certain information, then chances are it will be easily discarded by your memory and will not be imprinted in your memory bank. Usually, those things that interest you get most of your attention and that is why they are best remembered.
3. Oxygenate and hydrate. Memory loss is mainly prompted by the lack of water and oxygen in the body.

Great post. Although I personally find it really difficult to pay attention to subjects, especially those which I’m not interested in.
Hey, great site. I’ve never actually heard of it before. Thanks for putting it into my perspective.
