Too many of us spend too much time being at the effects side of life, responding to other’s emotional states, desires or impulses. And thanks to NLP cause and effect, I am able to quickly identify those times when I am living at the effect. To get back on track, I realize that I have many choices in my life. NLP cause and effect technique give me the mental resources I need and I’m able to explore other avenues to achieve my goals.

I’m sure you are confuse with it, but don’t worry, I will explain it – NLP Cause and Effect.

Cause means that you take responsibility for decisively creating what you want in your life and what you achieve or will achieve. You view the world as a place of opportunities and move towards what you want. To be at cause means that you know you have choices, in what you do and how you react to other people and events.

Effect means where you blame other people or situations for what you didn’t achieve in general. At the effect side of life you are powerless and depend on others to feel good. If you wait or hope that things will be different or that other people will provide that for you, then you are at the effect and a victim of circumstance.

Now, which one you choose? For me, I want to be at Cause. To be at cause means you have choices in your life. You can choose what is right for you and ensure the choice is ecological for those around you and those in your community. You consider the consequences of your actions on others, while not taking responsibility for their emotional well being.

Those people who continually live their lives at the effect frequently see themselves or live their lives as victims with no choices whatsoever. The irony is that they do have choice and they have chosen not to choose but to be responsive to whatever is given to them.
