Although NLP affirms that the presuppositions are not really true, they still can support a person. NLP presuppositions may be misconstrues as unrealistic and indistinct but they are extremely sensible. They are seen as gospel by NLP practitioners and can serve as useful guidelines and tools. Presuppositions say that an individual with high flexible behavior has also high influence on the composition.
It says that the resistance that a person obtains is a remark regarding your rigidity as communicator. When what you do is not functioning, you have to work on something else. Communication should always be present such as through the tone of your voice, your body language and actions.
It also says that an individual’s body and mind are inseparable parts of a system. The body and the mind are connected and reciprocally control one another. It is true that when one individual can accomplish something, there is no reason why someone else will not also accomplish or can also do it. Knowing that someone can essentially succeed in a certain activity or field means that you can obtain the same result from another individual if only he or she has the willingness to do the same.
There are more lists of NLP presuppositions and here are some of them. Presuppositions say that legitimate understanding comes from real experience. Respect for the other person’s model of the world. Everyone has a unique model of the world. You do not have to agree with someone, but try to respect that not everyone does things your way.
You are accountable of what goes on inside your own mind and so are the results and consequences of these thoughts. It is you who makes a choice regarding how you perceive reality, thus it is also you who have the capacity to alter that and even map your own road towards anything you like to achieve. Based on NLP presuppositions, a positive objective motivates every behavior and structure by which every action has a corresponding value.
