The basic concept of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is modeling. And the basic of NLP modeling technique is the law of cause and effect, which states that like causes always produce like effects. The great thing about modeling is that you really don’t have to understand how or why the tactics of your model work. You simply need to choose your model, analyze, and work on acquiring them (by the law of cause and effect), you can then enjoy the same levels of success.
With modeling, you also don’t need to understand why something works. It is simply cause and effect in operation. You simply commit to reproducing the same causes and the rest takes care of itself. So, if you want to achieve something, find someone who has already achieved what you want to achieve. Then analyze what they are doing, specifically to produce those results. Finally, commit to taking action. Replicate the causes of success and the product will not evade you.

It is logic that if smoking is deeply ingrained in your system, it may be really hard to break the habit and giving it up could be very difficult and very stressful. It can be said that the habit of smoking is psychologically motivated aside from being addictive. But you can actually change your way of thinking so that you realize at a deep, subconscious level that you need to stop smoking because continuing the process can lead to various lung ailments or even death. You can always put into your subconscious mind that you are a non-smoker and you are constantly working on improving your health.
First you have to decide that you want to end your smoking habit and believe that self hypnosis can bring about this positive result for you. So, sit down with pen and paper and write out all the reasons you should stop smoking. The key is to be honest with yourself. Ask yourself questions like, why do I smoke, how would my health improve if I quit smoking, how would my finances improve, what would this mean for my family and friends, how would it change my life in a positive way.

We all need a motivation towards our goal. You can decide to be motivated. In fact, that’s what most successful people do. They make a conscious decision that their dreams matter, that they will move forward, in spite of their challenges.
You might listen to motivational CDs, you might read motivational books, you might even surround yourself with motivational quotes and posters, but in spite of all that ‘motivation’ you still find yourself struggling to stay fired up about achieving your goals.

However in NLP, procrastination is more descriptive of what our brains are actually up to. We always choose the thing that is associated with the best feeling (kinesthetic representation). Our brains always and only select the best feeling available from life’s menu at the moment. So, procrastination is our best way to make something that feels bad, feel better! Hypnosis and meditation effect our attention. What we allocate our conscious workspace to focus on. Hypnosis and meditation aim to reduce this mind clutter. This firing of information that is not currently relevant to the present. Critical appraisal of what is currently being experienced is an enemy of relaxation.
Hypnosis. When thoughts and ideas are not evaluated, not critically assessed, we become susceptible to suggestion. That is, in our relaxed state we take the words we are hearing as the agent of control. So, hypnosis doesn’t have nothing to do with black magic, hocus pocus, mind control, etc. Read more about self hypnosis here: free self hypnosis intruction and stage hypnosis here: learn about stage hypnosis
